So, in a previous post, we mentioned the local friends took us on a trip. We wanted to expand a bit on the trip sharing a few more pictures and videos and explaining what it was like.

As most of you know, we decided to come to Costa Rica to try boat witnessing in a place with need. We did accomplish this and we’ve really enjoyed it. Living and witnessing by rivers and large bodies of water is so different from my previous experience preaching in the mountains of Costa Rica.

We even got to try line fishing for the very first time!

So, it shouldn’t come as a shock that our cool, local friends, knowing this and realizing our stay here is nearing its end, decided to take us out for one last, fun trip.

She wanted to know what it feels like to be a captain.
Daisy went prepared with braids.
Catching some sun and keeping a lookout for…
Whales!

We also went prepared with the fishing poles!
Dinner, anyone?

Of course, I couldn’t waste this opportunity to swim.

Though I was no match for the whales! They can outswim me any day.

After spending a day of fun in the sun, we got to see the sights in town.

So this is why the rum is always gone?

We also got to see some spectacular sunset colors.

As if that weren’t enough, look at the gift they gave me. It’s the best gift ever!

These are lasting memories that I’ll always remember fondly.
